Wayne Bostad: Engineering Hall of Fame - 1998

Wayne Bostad graduated from OSU Mechanical Engineering in 1959. He became a professional engineer in 1966 and rose to become president of Swingshift/Brudi. After retiring in 1995, he was then president and co-owner of Door Dynamics. Wayne was a member of the ME advisory board since its inception in 1992. He made several significant contributions in the advancement of the department's teaching and research objectives. He was instrumental in the drive to establish a materials handling product and process engineering research center. Wayne passed away on January 19, 1997.
